Waterproofing As with all Quechua tents, a lot of work is put in to ensuring they are watertight, through laboratory testing (an ENTIRE TENT is put through 200 litres/hr/sq m!) and field testing. (PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/sq m Polyethylene groundsheet, fully thermo-bonded taped seams). There is a breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet that prevents naturally-occurring droplets of condensation from touching the inside of the flysheet.

Ventilation Tent with 2 side panels on the flysheet can be opened up, allowing air into the inner tent through the mosquito netting (so the inner tent remains protected from insects). These 2 panels can be left open even in the rain, and can be closed from the inside. This means that you get a good night's sleep on even the warmest of nights. It also allows you to see what's going on outside (reassuring).
Poles Solid fibreglass: excellent break resistance.
Pegs 5mm galvanised steel for very good twist-resistance.
Tent bag Flat, 68 cm diameter disc. Equipped with flap without a zip, more practical and 2 shoulder straps for occasional use.
