Waterproofing : As with all Quechua tents, a lot of work is put in to ensuring they are watertight, through laboratory testing (an ENTIRE TENT is put through 200 litres/hr/sq m!) and field testing. (PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120 g/sq m polyethylene groundsheet, fully thermo-bonded taped seams). NB there is a breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet that prevents naturally-occurring droplets of condensation from touching the inside of the flysheet.
Ventilation : 1 upper ventilation flap at the back, 2 low side flaps, breathable bedroom fabric. You can leave the bedroom door half-open at the top thanks to the 2-way zip. Everything is designed to allow air to circulate between the bedroom and flysheet, for more breathability and to limit natural condensation.
Poles : Solid fibreglass; highly break resistant.
Pegs : 5mm galvanised steel for excellent twist-resistance.
Carry bag : Flat disc, 92cm in diameter.
UV protection : Our tent fabrics block over 98% of UVB and 80 to 95% of UVA rays... for those looking for daytime protection, remember that a lot of UV rays can enter through one open door.
Warranty : All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years under normal usage conditions (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.
